eSIM.London / Legal information

Terms & Conditions.

These terms explain how to use eSIM.London and outline the conditions planned for future travel eSIM purchases. Our website currently operates as a catalogue, with purchases unavailable.

UK consumer rights protectedDraft updated: 1 November 2026

Pre-launch draft: You can browse our catalogue and contact us by email or contact form, but you cannot currently place an order. Sections about purchases describe arrangements to be finalised before sales begin. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Part AUsing eSIM.London and placing orders
01

Who we are

eSIM.London is an online business that helps visitors explore travel eSIM plans. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to eSIM.London. Our website currently operates as a catalogue; purchases are unavailable.

You can contact us by email at info@esim.london or through our contact form.

02

About these terms

These terms explain how our website may be used and the general conditions intended for travel eSIM purchases once selling is enabled. Individual plan descriptions, any applicable network or supplier-specific terms, and mandatory legal information presented before purchase also form part of the information you should review.

If there is a conflict, your non-excludable legal rights remain unaffected. We will make any material product-specific conditions clear before you commit to pay.

03

Who may order

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate information when placing an order. If you purchase on behalf of someone else, you should have their permission and ensure the person using the eSIM understands the plan's requirements.

We may contact you to clarify an order or to address suspected unauthorised payment or misuse, subject to applicable law.

04

Prices, payments and checkout

Prices and currency will be displayed before purchase, together with the plan allowance, duration and any applicable taxes or fees. Where a payment method is offered, its availability and any charges will be shown before you place an order.

Before you commit to buy, you should be able to check and correct your order details. Any transaction must be expressly confirmed using a clearly labelled payment action. Sample prices shown on our pre-launch website are not currently offers to sell.

05

Order acceptance and confirmation

After checkout is launched, we intend to acknowledge orders electronically and provide an order confirmation on a durable medium, normally by email. The exact point at which a binding contract is formed will be made clear in the final checkout wording.

If a plan becomes unavailable, we will explain the situation and the options available to you, which may include a refund where appropriate. We will not substitute a materially different paid plan without your agreement.

Part BTravel eSIMs, delivery and connectivity
06

What an eSIM plan includes

A travel eSIM is a digital SIM profile for a compatible device. A plan may provide data in one destination, several countries or a wider region. The product page should identify the destination coverage, data allowance, validity period and any usage restrictions.

Calls, SMS, hotspot access, speed limits and top-ups are not automatically included. They are available only where the selected plan expressly provides them. Any fair-use policy, activation deadline or other important limit must be disclosed with the plan.

07

Device compatibility

Travel eSIMs require a device with eSIM support that is not restricted from using another provider's network. Compatibility can depend on the precise device model, region of sale, software version and carrier restrictions.

Please check your device before purchasing. Our Compatible Devices page gives general guidance, but the manufacturer's instructions and your particular model should also be checked.

08

Electronic delivery

When sales are enabled, eSIM installation details may be delivered electronically, for example by QR code, manual activation information or another method specified during checkout. The delivery method and expected timing will be explained before purchase.

You are responsible for supplying an email address or other contact details that you can access. If your eSIM details do not arrive as expected, please contact us so the order can be investigated.

09

Installation, activation and validity

Follow the instructions provided with your individual eSIM. Installation often requires an internet connection. Depending on the supplier and plan, the validity period may begin on installation, activation, the first network connection or another clearly specified event.

We will display any applicable activation deadline, installation limitations and validity-start rules before purchase. Do not assume every plan starts on first use. See our Install Your eSIM guide for general setup information.

10

Coverage, speeds and data usage

Connectivity depends on the participating mobile networks, local coverage, device capability, signal conditions, congestion, location and any restrictions in the selected plan. A destination being listed does not mean uninterrupted coverage in every part of that destination.

Usage may count against your purchased data allowance, and some plans may slow or stop data service once an allowance or fair-use threshold is reached. We will describe material usage restrictions before purchase and meet our obligations under applicable law.

11

Calls, texts and emergencies

Unless the plan clearly says otherwise, assume it is intended for mobile data only and does not include a traditional phone number, voice calls or SMS. Your primary SIM and any supported calling applications may work differently while travelling.

Emergency services: Do not rely on a data-only travel eSIM as your sole way to make emergency calls or send emergency texts. Check the capabilities of your device and the local emergency arrangements.
Part CCancellations, problems and refunds
12

Changing your mind or cancelling

UK distance-selling rules may give consumers a cancellation right, usually lasting 14 days from the date of a service or relevant digital-content contract, subject to legal exceptions. The position depends on what is being supplied and whether performance or digital supply has begun.

Where the law permits a cancellation right to be lost for digital content supplied immediately, the required express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation must be obtained correctly. For services started during a cancellation period, different rules may apply, including rules about payment for service already supplied. Receiving a QR code does not, by itself, establish that every customer has lost all cancellation rights.

Before purchases are enabled, we will state the cancellation process and provide any required form and checkout choices. For questions about these planned arrangements, use Contact & Support.

13

Faulty, unavailable or misdescribed plans

If a supplied plan does not match its description or does not work as it should, please contact us with the order number, device model, destination, relevant screenshots and a description of the problem. We may need reasonable information to investigate with the network or eSIM supplier.

Any available remedy will be assessed under the applicable law and the nature of the contract. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include correcting a problem, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.

14

Refund requests and payment returns

Refund eligibility and processing will depend on your legal rights, the facts of the order and the final refund policy supplied before purchase. Where a refund is legally due, it will be made according to the applicable statutory requirements, including rules on timing and payment method.

Our Refunds & Cancellations page explains our planned approach. We will finalise the refund process before sales begin. There is no blanket “all eSIMs are non-refundable” condition in this draft.

Part DAccounts, responsible use and information
15

Your account and order details

If you create an account, keep your login details private and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Please use accurate contact and order information, particularly where delivery of eSIM details depends on it.

If an account feature, order-history function or password recovery service is offered, we will explain how it works and how you can get help accessing it.

16

Acceptable use

Do not use our website or any supplied plan for fraud, unauthorised access, harassment, unlawful activity or activity intended to disrupt networks and systems. You must respect any lawful, clearly disclosed network-use restrictions that apply to your chosen plan.

Where necessary and legally permitted, we may take proportionate steps to investigate misuse or protect the service. This does not affect remedies owed where we have failed to meet our own obligations.

17

Privacy and website content

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and manage optional analytics preferences.

Our original branding, text and site design may not be copied or republished without permission, except where permitted by law.

18

Our responsibilities and your legal rights

We intend to provide accurate plan information and to perform our obligations with the care and skill required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We do not seek to exclude your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed digital content, inadequate services, or other non-excludable remedies. Any future liability wording must be fair, proportionate and consistent with applicable consumer law.

19

Changes to these terms and applicable law

We may update these terms as the website, suppliers and services develop. The version applicable to an order and any legally required notices of changes will be made clear. We will not use website updates to remove rights or unfairly rewrite a contract that has already been agreed.

These draft terms are intended for a UK-based business. Any final governing-law and dispute-resolution wording will respect mandatory protections that apply to consumers in different parts of the UK or elsewhere.

20

Contact, complaints and business details

If you have a question or complaint about these terms, our website or a listed eSIM plan, email info@esim.london or use our contact form. Please explain your enquiry and include any relevant details so we can review it.

Our contact channels are email and the website contact form. Purchases are currently unavailable; we will confirm the process for order-related complaints before sales begin.
